Which was good. And I was home by 3:15, so that was good too.
And now it's Saturday. Ames just called me, so I'm gonna dry my hair and then go over to hers. And we're gonna go grocery shopping. ;) She was like, "I have to go grocery shopping, but I don't want to go by myself…"
I think today's going to be good. I shaved my legs and I'm wearing my hot new tanktop, so even though my allergies (from all the dust last night) are kicking my ass a little, I'm feeling pretty good about me. And I'm off to be social with people I really like.
Went to work at Waldenbooks this morning, hit the bank, came home, ate, hung out some, took a three-hour nap, woke up, ate and now I'm going back to Waldenbooks for inventory till (most likely) 4 or 5 in the morning.
Nap was good.
This one spot in my right shoulder along with a rib or two under my right boob and the corresponding spot in my back are causing me a lot of unexpected pain. So I pulled a Jennifer Beals and removed my bra out from under my shirt, but that hasn't really helped. In fact it seems to get progressively worse and it's hurting to breathe.
This is fucking weird. And also? Ow.
I think I'm going to go lie down.
ETA: Whatever my parents are watching in the next room keeps playing the beginning of Madonna's "Live to Tell" over and over.
Hehe. According to them, it's some Sean Penn movie.
I'm getting $190 from the IRS and $160 of it is going to the state. *sigh*
It's 10:45 and it looks to be that everyone in my house has gone to sleep. It's bizarre. Everyone, that is, except for me as I spent most of the entire day sleeping. And watching Queer As Folk. And sleeping.
I worked for ten hours straight between my two jobs today, and half-way through the day my sinuses began seriously bugging me and my whole head was hurting. By then end of the day, the entirety of me was in pain, and I'm pretty sure I had a fever by the time I was driving home. I tried to check but the thermometer was too confusing so I gave up and went to bed. Where I lay for a while trying to get myself back up because I forgot to wash my hands, and couldn't take my contacts out. I fell asleep for about an hour, and then I woke back up. Thankfully, no longer freezing, but overheated. Which is okayer, I guess. And I got up and did all that stuff, and then went back to bed and read Sin City: Family Values. Miho kicks some serious ass. And I want Dwight's babies. But only cause they'd be more attractive than Marv's. I love reading about Dwight, but I really hope Marv shows up in one of the next two books. *sigh* I miss him.
Anyway, now I'm up and feeling shitty, but not as tired, since I basically power-napped. This sucks.
Every time I pull into my street at night and drive past the streetlight, it turns off. Every time for the past week solid. It's fucking bizarre. And the first night it happened, I'd driven past another streetlight before it that had also turned off.
